It has been noted that in order to achieve a full detox body cleanse, a 7 day detox diet is highly recommended. This diet is guaranteed to clear out all toxins by the end of one week, leaving you feeling refreshed and energised.

DAY 1
Start the day with a fruit or some fruit juice as this clears the digestive system in preparation for the day and also provides the body with a healthy start. Fruit juices are also known to function as appetisers. During Lunchtime, snack on some heavier fruits such as bananas, which assist in maintaining the sodium-potassium pump, pawpaw fruit or some nuts. Then during dinner, a healthy salad of different fruits is highly recommended.
Note:Note that fruits are easily digested hence there might be a tendency to feel very hungry during this first day; hence, it is important to take either water or juice when you feel hungry.
DAY 2
The second day of the seven day detox diet starts with a glass of freshly squeezed fruit juice, preferable lemon water and a vegetable sandwich. In this case, the bread used should be made from whole grain and the vegetables should be raw; preferable parsley or lettuce. Lunchtime should be a fresh fruit and some nuts such as cashew nuts or sesame seeds.
Dinner should be slightly heavy; vegetable salad that has been fried very slightly in sunflower oil. Various spices that function in blood detox, such as garlic, ginger and pepper can also be incorporated in his salad.
DAY 3, 4 and 5
In this seven day diet, these three days are considered to be of utmost importance. The other previous days have been a preparation of these three days; the fasting days.
These three days ought to begin with a glass of some fruit juice cocktail. Lunch will mainly comprise of water (preferable distilled) and a fruit. Dinner should be the vegetable mixture made of large onions, green pepper, cabbage, celery or broccoli, whole tomatoes ant water.

DAY 7

This should include carrots, broccoli, asparagus, parsley, artichokes and lettuce.
There are various ways of achieving full body detox and it all depends on the individual's self discipline. This 7 day detox diet should be adopted at least once a month so as to effectively assist in removing the toxins found in our bodies.
